INFORMATION SHEET AND APPLICATION FORM

The Sunapee-Kearsarge Intercommunity Theatre (SKIT) is an organization dedicated to raising funds for worthwhile charities in the Kearsarge valley through the presentation of theatrical events. Several years ago, SKIT set up a fund to offer scholarships to member of the graduating class of local high schools.

The scholarship is named in honor of Steven M. Mendelson, one of the founding members of S.K.I.T. Scholarships are awarded to students who have participated in any aspect of the fine or performing arts and who plan to further their education.

Please fill out the following form and return to the address below by April 24, 2007. The scholarship will be awarded at the school's Senior Scholarship Awards Presentation.

1. A letter written by the applicant including the details of his/her involvement in the arts and how he/she has been enriched by those experiences
   
2. A letter of recommendation from a member of the high school faculty
   
3. A letter of recommendation from someone who can speak to the student's participation in the arts
